The Washington Area Dart Association (WADA) is accepting applications for the position of Executive Director (ED). The ED runs the day to day operations of WADA and also is the "face" of WADA. The duties of the ED are time consuming and therefore it is a paid position. If you would like to apply for the position please fill out the questionnaire and submit it to WADA by 5:00pm on November 24, 2009. Interviews will be conducted on the afternoon of Saturday December 5.

• League
  • Create league schedules
  • Run championships three times per year
  • Field league related phone calls on league nights
  • Arbitrate rule disputes
  • Track match results and prepare the Weekly

• Washington Area Open
  • Responsible for planning and organizing yearly ADO tournament
  • Aid and oversee Tournament Directors during tournament
  • Promote tournament including but not limited to purchasing advertisements in dart related magazines and publicizing tournament at other regional tournaments

• Other
  • Attend monthly WADA board meetings to provide Executive Director's report
  • Track and control WADA property
  • Be an example of good sportsmanship and dart etiquette.
  • Promote the sport of darts in the Washington area.
